Intro Though they decided to live somewhat like the Clans, no way rogues could (or would) completely grasp the idea of a StarClan-controlled life. No, it's way different. . .
Ranks: Guide (Leader) - Guides the rogues, sorta bosses them around, is decided by whoever is the strongest, wisest, and most respected. Co. Guide (Deputy) - The guide chooses whoever the co. guide is, but it doesn't really mean that the co. guide becomes the guide later on. Healer (Medicine cat) - Fetches herbs, heals the cats, et cetera. Other than that, the healer really doesn't have any importance. The healer gets to choose any random kit she likes to be her trainee. Followers (Warriors/Toms) - These guys are just normal tom rogues, under the control of the guide and co. guide. Candies (Queens/She-cats) - Pregnant, nursing kits, or not, these are all the she-cats bunched into their own little group. They can be counted as 'followers,' but they usually aren't. Trainees (Apprentices) - These are kits that have reached two moons old, training to be a follower or a candy. Naturally, candies train the candy trainees, and followers train the follower trainees. The training isn't really too different, but that's just the way things go. News (Kits) - These are just newborns that live with the candies. Once they're weaned, they hit the trainee's cabin.
Rogue Terms Clanner - Clan cat Cabin - Den Clan-brained - Stupid, a high insult Upwalker - Human Twolegs - Human Nofur - Human Notail - Human (Other than that, normal cat terms are used.)
Ceremonies (If they can be called that.) Meetings - "Everyone, get your butts over here!" is good enough. If it's been a somewhat bad-tempered day, a nice little "Rogues of the forest, gather around me," is good enough. Guide Ceremony - (if a follower or a candy is challenging the current guide)The challenger confronts the guide, saying "I challenge you!" or something of the sort. Then they fight a death match. Whoever comes out alive wins. If both die, then the co. guide becomes the new guide. If the co. guide died in the battle, then the healer is allowed to choose the next guide. (if the current guide dies) the co. guide becomes the new guide. Co. Guide Ceremony - "I choose ____ to be my [new] co. guide! Any objections!?" are the formal words. Choose whatever happens if they object. "Good. Meeting at an end." Follower Ceremony - "_______, you're now a follower. Do you want a new name?" If they do, the guide says "So be it. ______ has now shed the name his mother gave him and is now _______." If not, then the guide says "So be it." And that's that. Candy Ceremony - "_______ is now a candy, and will be known from now on as ______ as a sign of her new eligibility." The guide can throw in anything she wants. Trainee Ceremony - "_____ will now be a [follower/candy] trainee! ______ will supervise and organize all of [his/her] training." Healer Trainee Ceremony - "______ has chosen _____ to be [his/her] trainee. _____, do whatever _____ tells you to." Healer Ceremony - "Now that _______ has died due to ______________, _______ will now be our healer."
